Making a Chair

This short sequence of pictures illustrates some of the stages involved in making a chair.

The time taken to make each chair is largely dependent on the intricacy of design, the amount of hand carving required significantly influencing the time required. All our chairs are made traditionally using mortice and tenon construction to ensure strength and longevity.
